single Vs couple.

The Daily Mail Has an article in their paper dated January 5th 2006 that claims 'single parents have it easy!'

I read this article and have found it is completely one persons point of view supported by a 'survey'. It does not say how many people it talked to, what sex they talked to, how many children the single parent had, where the single parents lived, or how much income they had!.
The journalist clams to have been a single parent and one of two parents. The thing is, a single parent with lots of money will have it easy. They can afford childcare.
If there are two parents and they don't talk to each other about what the child should eat or how much T.V. the child should watch, or if one parent expects the other to do things, but not tell them, it will be hard.

Having two parents should make it easier. If one is ill, the other takes over for that time of illness. The couple should talk when the children aren't around and decide what should be eaten how much T.V. is ok, and always make sure they check with the other parent if the child has asked them the same question but didn't like the answer.

In the article she clams that the child/children 'are beasts that try to play one parent against the other.' Two points, One, no child is ever beast, and two, if the parents have talked about what the child/children can and can't do, they can not be played of against each other.

If their are two parents and they are tired, they can time-share and get some sleep, if a child is ill, their is enough people to look after the child and get them to the doctors and if there is other children, the other parent can look after them, do the shopping, and do the house work. If a parent wants tea at a certain time, they can cook it!

A good neighbor is there for couples and single parents alike.

I'd consider the source. Sounds like the writer is someone who's anti-relationship and using a child to reinforce the argument.
